Hi! Today to celebrate the upcoming holidays, which equals to a lot of free time, I would like to show you some wonderful and magical waterfalls that you can visit.

Triberg Waterfalls in Germany

The beautiful Triberg Waterfalls can be found in the Gutach River just outside of Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. Nestled within the Black Forrest, the Triberg Waterfalls are the second tallest set of falls in the country, dropping 496 feet. While they’re not the tallest waterfalls in Germany, they’re the most accessible, making them a great destination if you’re ever in the area!

Niagra Falls in USA

Perhaps some of the most famous waterfalls in North America, Niagra Falls actually lie on the border between Ontario in Canada and New York in the United States. The falls are separated in the middle by Goat Island. The falls on the Canadian side, in Niagra Falls, Ontario, are known as Horseshoe Falls, while the falls in Niagra Falls, New York are simply know as the American Falls. You’ll also find a smaller set, known as Bridal Veil Falls, which are separated from the main sets by Luna Island.

Choshi Otaki Waterfall in Japan

In Oirase, Japan you’ll start at Towada Lake and then follow the mountain stream, Oirase Keiruy. Scattered along the stream you’ll find incredibly misty waterfalls. The Choshi Ohtaki waterfall looks like a thick veil, flowing from 7 meters above to the waters below. Oiraise has been highly recommended for travelers looking for new and intriguing places to stay in Japan.

Skoga River Waterfalls in Iceland

There are more than two dozen waterfalls along the Skoga River in Iceland, some over 30 meters tall. Very few of the waterfalls along this river, with the exception of one or two, have names, but they don’t need names to make their presence known as they clamor together in harmony. Simply follow the beaten path along the river and you’ll see more waterfalls than you ever dared anticipate in one place.

Another city which will present on my blog is Dubai. This town is an example that nothing is impossible, because suddenly 200 years ago Dubai was a desert with a few buildings, currently every square meter is used and the city center extents radially.

The Emirates Office Tower

The Emirates Office Tower, also referred to as Emirates Tower One is a 54-floor office building along Sheikh Zayed Road in the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Connected with the 56-floor Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel by a retail boulevard, they form what is commonly referred to as the Emirates Towers complex. The tower has a total structural height of 354.6 m (1,163 ft) and roof height of 311 m (1,020 ft) making it the 12th tallest currently-standing fully-habitable building in the world. Emirates Office Tower One is taller than Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel despite having two fewer floors. Construction was completed in November 1999.

The Burj Al Arab

The Burj Al Arab is a luxury hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates managed by the Jumeirah Group and built by Said Khalil. It was designed by Tom Wright of WS Atkins PLC. At 321 metres (1,053 ft), it is the tallest building used exclusively as a hotel.[2] However, the Rose Tower, also in Dubai, which has already topped Burj Al Arab's height, will take away this title upon its opening in April 2008. The Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island 280 metres (919 ft) out from Jumeirah beach, and is connected to the mainland by a private curving bridge. It is an iconic structure, designed to symbolize Dubai's urban transformation and to mimic the billowing sail of a boat.

The Emirates Towers Hotel

The Emirates Towers Hotel, also referred to as Emirates Tower Two is a 56-floor five-star business hotel in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The hotel includes 40 luxury suites and is operated by the Jumeirah International Group. Connected with 54-floor Emirates Office Tower by a retail boulevard they form what is commonly referred to as the Emirates Towers complex. At a structural height of 309 m (1,014 feet) Emirates Towers Hotel is the smaller of the two of the sister towers but still ranks as the 29th tallest currently-standing structure in the world and the third (3rd) tallest complete in-use hotel in the world. Construction was completed on April 15, 2000.

21st Century Tower

21st Century Tower is a 55-story skyscraper along the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai . At a height of 269 m (883 ft) it is the world's third-tallest residential building.It was the world's tallest residential building when it was completed in 2003, but later the Eureka Tower in Melbourne, Australia and the Q1 tower in Australia's Gold Coast bumped it to its current position.

It is occupied by Cabin Crew members of Emirates Airline, and boasts a gym on the top floor and a pool on the roof.

Chelsea Tower

Chelsea Tower is a 250 metre (820 feet) skyscraper located on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a 49 story building used for a hotel and residential apartments. Chelsea Tower is the eighth tallest tower in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. Occupying plot 90 on Sheikh Zayed Road, the tower is a very iconic building in the Dubai skyline due to its unique spire and horizontal white lines covering its façade. When completed in 2005, Chelsea Tower was the fifth tallest building in Dubai

Paris architecture

For lack of ideas for the next posts I decided to browse the buildings of the cities. So the post will be about Paris, and very easy to find a small cult buildings and architecture. The whole city is dotted with places that fascinates hundreds of years. What's most interesting city at the turn of about 200 years changed slightly, and new buildings do not overshadow the old splendor of architecture and urbanism of the city.

Paris

The Eiffel Tower

 The Eiffel Tower is an iron tower built on the Champ de Mars beside the River Seine in Paris. It is the tallest structure in Paris and among the most recognized symbols in the world. Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, it is a premier tourist destination.

The tower stands 300 m (986 ft) high, which is about 75 stories. Including the 24-m (72-ft) antenna, the structure is 324 m (1058 ft) high which is about 81 stories. At the time of its construction in 1889, the tower was the tallest structure in the world, a title it retained until 1930, when New York City's Chrysler Building (319 m/1046 ft tall) was completed (although the tower was still taller if the respective spires of the two structures were excluded). The tower is the second-highest structure in France, after the 350-m Allouis longwave transmitter, built in 1939. The Eiffel tower is the highest structure in Paris. The second-highest structure in Paris, and the fourth-highest in France, is the Tour Montparnasse (Montparnasse Tower), at 209 m. The Montparnasse Tower is also famous among architects for being one of the few tall structures in the world that is perfectly vertical.

Arc de Triomphe

The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris that stands in the centre of the Place de l'Étoile, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. It is the linchpin of the historic axis (L'Axe historique) leading from the courtyard of the Louvre Palace, a sequence of monuments and grand thoroughfares on a route leading out of Paris. The monument's iconographic program pitted heroically nude French youths against bearded Germanic warriors in chain mail and set the tone for public monuments with triumphant nationalistic messages until World War I.

The Louvre Museum

The Louvre Museum is one of the largest and most famous museums in the world. The building, a former royal palace, lies in the centre of Paris, between the Seine river and the Rue de Rivoli. Its central courtyard, now occupied by the Louvre Pyramid, lies in the axis of the Champs-Élysées, and thus forms the nucleus from which the Axe historique springs. Part of the royal Palace of the Louvre was first opened to the public as a museum on November 8, 1793, during the French Revolution.

The Centre Georges Pompidou

The Centre Georges Pompidou (constructed 1971–1977 and known as the Pompidou Centre in English) is a building in the Beaubourg area of the IVe arrondissement of Paris, near Les Halles and the Marais. Designed by Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers and Gianfranco Franchini, it houses the Bibliothèque publique d'information, a vast public library, and the Musée National d'Art Moderne. Because of its location, the Centre is known locally as Beaubourg.

Notre Dame de Paris

Notre Dame de Paris (French for "Our Lady of Paris", meaning the church in Paris dedicated to the Virgin Mary), often known simply as Notre Dame in English, is a gothic cathedral on the eastern half of the Île de la Cité in Paris, France, with its main entrance to the west. While a major tourist destination, it is still used as a Roman Catholic cathedral (archbishop of Paris). Notre Dame de Paris is widely considered the finest example of French gothic architecture.

Fortunately, yesterday's game did not give the Poles entirely, but I know that we could play better. In any case, the result of 1:1 is a good result, and the match will be tough with Russia. But I hope that we will emerge from the group.

Unique structures

Chicago Spire, USA

The Chicago Spire was a supertall skyscraper project in Chicago, Illinois, which was abandoned in 2008 with only its foundation work completed. The construction was halted after several years of on-going financing challenges, including the global recession that began in 2008. Anglo Irish Bank Corp. filed a US$77 million foreclosure lawsuit against The Spire's Irish developer Garrett Kelleher, claiming that loans made to Kelleher’s development company had been in default for a year. The bank was expected to take possession of the site where the Spire was to have been built.

Songjiang Hotel, Shanghai

  

Atkins has won an international competition to design a five-star resort hotel, located near the city of Shanghai is Songjian dengannuansa former mining lakes that are not used anymore. It's really very beautiful and impressive to enjoy staying at this hotel.

Russia Tower, Moskow

Rejected project to build a skyscraper in Moscow. The building was to have 118 floors and 612 meters high. The building was designed by Norman Foster - one of the leading architects in the world. In February 2009, the company responsible for building a skyscraper officially confirmed the arrest of the project because of the finance crisis.

Aqua Tower USA

Tower is among the highest residential buildings in the world. For two years he was even the highest residential building in the U.S., but in 2011 it exceeded the 267 m high at 8 Spruce Street, New York. The building was built thanks to Magellan Development Group was designed by architect Jeanne Gang. There is also the world's highest building designed by a woman. Aqua Tower has a height of 262 meters to the roof. It has 86 storeys and one underground designated as parking. Each floor covers approximately 1 500 m². The total floor area of all rooms is 184 936 m².

Regatta Hotel Jakarta, Indonesia

The Regatta Hotel Jakarta was designed by Atelier Enam, based on the nautical theme, where the centrepiece is an aerodynamically shaped hotel bound to be one of the most striking landscape features overlooking the Java Sea.

The Regatta Hotel Jakarta is a five-star hotel that offers an Aqua Park in a complex spawning over 11 hectares of reclaimed land. The designers said that the 10 smaller towers represent sailing boats and the centerpiece, which is also the larger building is ‘The Lighthouse’. This lighthouse is one of the most great looking structure i’ve seen regarding futuristic building concepts, and the idea is to anchor it all of the ten “sail ship” buildings on shore.

Europe Stadiums - TOP 3

1. Camp Nou, Barcelona, FC Barcelona

Home to the Catalan giants, Barcelona, the Camp Nou is a behemoth stadium, and holds about 99,000 seats.

It is the best stadium in Europe, not because it is the most modern or because it the most technically advanced one, it is not, but because of the atmosphere and the passion of the fans that flock to see their favorite club perform.

If Real Madrid can boast about more trophies and championships, The Catalans can certainly boast about Camp Nou.

2. Allianz Area, Munich, Bayern Munich & 1860 Munich

You may be forgiven for thinking that it looks like a UFO, but the Allianz Arena is one of the best football stadiums in Europe.

Home to Bayern Munich and the less famous 1860 Munich, it is a technological marvel, breaking new grounds for a football stadium.

With a capacity to hold 69,000 fans, the stadium features a facade which can be lit into three different colours depending on the home team. Red for Bayern, Blue for 1860 TSV, and White for the German National Team.

3.  Wembley Stadium, London, England

The Wembley, or the New Wembley is perhaps the most iconic stadium in the United Kingdom (I know Manchester United and Liverpool fans think otherwise).

Demolished and reconstructed between 2003 and 2007, it holds about 90,000 fans and remains the largest covered stadium in Europe.

Home to the England National Football Team, it also plays host to multiple concerts and the NFL International Series every year.

Today, puts some nice photos of modern architecture, because it can amaze and intrigue. As you will notice a visual effect does not create the object itself but also its surroundings, the square on which it is located and its management. Important is also a small architecture, which increases value of the building, referring to it often in its form.
